    Customer Review: Great for travel
This is a really neat and creative travel bed. It is easy to set up and the mattress is very comfy. The only problem we had was that while sleeping and moving around, our 8 month old would tend to get stuck inbetween the mattress and side of the tent. This is because we took the mattress out of the bottom part so we could place a sheet over the mattress and it would be more comfortable for her. Next time I think we will just leave the mattress in the bottom of the tent and we wouldn't have this problem. Our daughter liked it but was a little scared at first as it is totally different than her crib. But, after a few nights she seemed to do ok. I think we will definitely be using this on all of our trips to visit family and friends.
Customer Review: Very compact, but lacking for active babies.
This bed's mattress can be inflated with the included pump, or with your own lung power. It also folds away easily into the included travel bag, though deflating the mattress could be easier if it included a larger outlet hole. It definitely meets the portable description. The biggest drawback is the tendency for an active baby to get his or her head wedged between the mattress and the tent part. When this happens, the baby is most likely going to wake up. If the mattress were designed with a raised edge it would probably help. If your child sleeps peacefully with little movement, you would likely rate this item higher.

Getting the right kind of basic camping gear is of utmost importance in determining the fun factor in your outdoor vacation's success scope and knowing which is the best type of tent for camping outdoors in a particular season is the best way to begin narrowing down your search.

At times, a tent for camping serves as temporary home, at times it's your shield from the elements of nature - at others, it helps to provide shelter for your family's needs, so in all ways, a tent for camping needs to be security, durability and comfort ratios equally to be a good buy for any enjoyable camping trip. From the many factors that determine the right selection of a tent for camping, we have taken the gist out of the most crucial factors and enumerated them for you here: prime being location of camp-site, how many campers are to be lodged in the tent and what facilities are you looking to find in a camping tent.

    1. Firstly, when considering a tent for camping, especially if you are a US citizen, its vital to point out that here this basic outdoor home is typically divided into two types - 3 season and 4 season. The first kind (3 season) is intended for use only in the summer, fall and spring seasons as the material used is lightweight and not suitable for colder weather. The second kind (4 seasons) is made especially for winter camping or high altitude camping and constructed out of heavy, insulated fabric.

    2. Next, the number of campers you have to put up in the tent is of secondary importance as the size of the tent is to be decided by the amount of space required. At times, couples or families may want privacy so divide the needs for a tent into one or more per group; otherwise, opt for buying one with dividing flaps that separate distinct spaces to create smaller rooms for groups. If there is more expected beyond sleeping in the tent, you may want to look for more head room and wider panels - so judge activities inside before purchasing.

    3. Thirdly, the material used for making the tent is also important as it is a deciding factor in the level of protection granted you from the elements of nature besides how it will hold up (weight) in moisture, heavy or light. E.g cotton tents get heavy when wet so most persons opt for nylon and poly-blends fabric in choices; it's also smart to check for ones with "hydrostatic head" to judge its waterproofing ability (a high number on the label is good).

Insulated tents that have skins on them to wrap around for channeling water-flow away from the tent-roof are ideal and when coupled with durable ground sheet, will last many years and holidays since this works to make it stronger, keeps water away and prevents easy wear and tear.

A thermoelectric cooler is a great edition to everyone's camping supplies. Although there are many uses for your thermoelectric cooler this article will show you 5 ways to get the most out of yours.

1. During long road trips or traveling to your camping destination is a great opportunity to make use of your thermoelectric cooler. Having you cooler plugged into your cigarette lighter & set on cool, you can put your food & drinks inside. Keeping your cooler easily accessible will help make your trip more enjoyable. No more pulling over to a roadside restaurant for an hour to eat. Sandwiches, fruit & drinks are ready when you are, making your destination a little closer.

2. After arriving at your camping destination, if your site has power hookups your thermoelectric cooler can be used as an outdoor fridge, which frees up your RV fridge for food. We all know, having room for fresh food when on a long trip is hard to come by. Plugging your cooler into an outside plug on your RV and filling it with juice boxes & snacks for the kids, milk & soda will keep your kids from going in & out of the RV, where they track in dirt, and let in insects. They can now easily get their own, freeing up your time to relax. During the evening & overnight you can unplug it, then plug it back in the morning. If you don't own an RV or have power at your site, use the cigarette lighter plug and run the cord outside.

3. Your thermoelectric cooler can also be used in your home. When you have family & friends over for the holidays or sporting events you will usually have a fridge full of food. You can plug your thermoelectric cooler in for your beverages & refreshments. You can also plug it in on the deck when you're having a BBQ, it's an extra fridge that can be used for extra space.

4. You can also use your thermoelectric cooler for keeping food warm. If you're traveling somewhere & need to keep food warm, you can plug your thermoelectric cooler into your cigarette lighter in your vehicle & place your food inside. When you arrive at your destination your food will still be warm. It will also prevent your food from spilling inside your vehicle.

5. Of course another way you can use your thermoelectric cooler is like a regular cooler. You can extend the cooling of any cooler by placing 1L frozen water bottles in the bottom. Depending on the number of frozen water bottles you use and the size of your cooler, this can extend cooling considerably. Experiment with the amount of bottles and see how long they last. Be sure not to fill the bottles completely, when the water freezes it expands and if the bottles are full they will burst open.

As you can see there are a number of uses for your thermoelectric cooler whether it be cooling or warming, during travel, camping of everyday uses. You have probably thought of a few of your own uses while reading this article. We use ours all year long and it has been a valuable purchase.
